Pilates – profiles of inspiration

I may be a bit biased. I think Pilates is one of the best workouts one can do. I have been certified and teaching Pilates based classes since the 90’s and have experienced so many benefits: improved posture (my mom used to always accuse me of not standing up straight), an end to chronic back pain (seriously, I used to be bed ridden at times), and the ability to breathe deeply, consistently on a daily basis (that may not seem like a big deal, but pay attention to your own breathing and let me know what you find).

My Monday night ongoing class is full of aging bodies that defy the notion that we cannot get stronger, leaner, and more agile as we age.

For the next few weeks I will be featuring some of my students. Enjoy meeting them on “paper” and then consider joining us in the studio and meet them in person. First class is always FREE!
