As part of our New Year’s Resolution to go Zero Waste and do our part to help ourselves and our community, we teamed up with a new local organization called 1% for Nature.
We will be accepting voluntary contributions at our office in support of preserving nature in Monroe County! One dollar is all we ask!
All gifts will help protect land and enhance public access to wildlife, habitat, trails, parks, and streams.
Part of health and wellness on all levels is our connection to nature.
Science now shows that time spent outside and in nature can reduce stress and help to restore balance in the nervous system.
This is our county. There is so much abundance and beauty to explore. We hope to join with you and this wonderful organization to protect special places and make them accessible for people and wildlife.
1% for Nature is a non-profit organization that will award grants to non-profit organizations or government entities that are protecting land and/or making it accessible for people to enjoy!
