Phelamanga

“Looks like Phelamanga to me, ” he said.

I know what you are thinking because I thought the same thing. What is Phelamanga? Or, since it was a text message –  what kind of a weird typo is that?

Sure enough (and since he is a college professor), it is a word – or maybe better put – a place.

Phelamanga is ” a place at the end of lies or where the lies finish. a place that lies beyond the imagination where truth prevails.”

It is used in the song – Scatterlings of Africa by Johnny Clegg

It has fast become one of my favorite words, and if you just drop it into conversation you will see who is actually paying attention!

It is a conversation starter.

It is a way to move through your day with new eyes.

It is a state of being to cultivate and live.

Try it.
